Strategy & Operations Consulting · Process Improvement
There's a better way to get the work done.
I help leaders and teams find it.
When work keeps getting stuck, taking too long, depending on the same few people, or requiring workarounds just to get through the day, something needs to change.
Sometimes the issue is the process. Sometimes it's the system supporting it, unclear ownership, poor handoffs, competing priorities, or several things working against each other.
I help you figure out what is making the work harder than it needs to be, what needs to change, and how to make it work better.
Meet Kerry
Hi, I'm Kerry Francis.
I'm a Strategy & Operations Consultant specializing in process improvement.
As a C-suite executive, founder, and consultant, I've led across strategy, operations, business development, product, growth, and execution. I've worked inside businesses where good people were doing good work, but the way the work moved through the organization needed to be clearer, simpler, faster, or better connected.
That experience means I rarely look at one department or one symptom and stop there. I want to understand how the pieces are affecting each other and what needs to change for the business to work better.

Selected Clients & Organizations I've Served
$34M+ in business development and institutional partnerships secured for clients, including Walmart at $30M, Mastercard at $3M, and the Caribbean Development Bank at $1M.
You know when the work has gotten harder than it needs to be.
Maybe everyone has their own way of doing the same thing. Information lives in too many places. A process depends on someone remembering what happens next. Work gets handed from one department to another and something gets lost in between. You bought a system, but people created workarounds because it doesn't quite fit the way they actually work.
Or maybe the process technically works. It just takes too long, requires too many steps, or makes something that should be simple unnecessarily difficult.
Those things cost more than time. They create frustration, inconsistency, missed opportunities, slow decisions, and work that has to be done twice.
There's usually a better way to do it.
The first step is figuring out what is actually getting in the way.
Process Improvement in the Real World
What can I actually help you fix?
Process improvement is not just documenting a process. It is looking at how the work actually gets done and finding a better way to make the people, steps, systems, information, and decisions work together.
Information
Your information is everywhere.
I can help bring it together, build a better way to organize and maintain it, and make sure people can actually find and use what they need.
Manual Work
Too much work is still manual.
I can help identify what should be streamlined or automated, redesign the workflow, and build practical tools that reduce the manual work and keep information moving.
Consistency
Your team keeps reinventing the wheel.
I can help document the work, identify the gaps, and put a practical operating structure in place.
Onboarding
Onboarding depends on whoever has time.
I can help build an onboarding process that makes expectations clearer, puts the right information in one place, and gets people productive faster.
Coordination
Teams are busy, but the work isn't always connecting.
I can help find where the breakdowns are happening, clarify responsibilities and handoffs, and create a better way for people to work across the business.
Capability
The business is growing or changing and needs to catch up.
I can help determine what needs to change around that move, build the plan, and work with your team to put it in place.
And sometimes the starting point is simply: “Something isn't working, but I'm not sure what the answer is yet.”
Bring me that too.
Who I Work With
The details are always different. The problems are usually the same.
Most of my work is with construction and AEC firms, manufacturers, consumer product companies, and professional services teams. Some are twenty people. Some are a few hundred or more. I've worked with early-stage startups and with household-name brands doing hundreds of millions a year.
A Broader View
The process rarely exists by itself.
A broken handoff may look like a people issue. A technology problem may begin with the workflow. A recurring delay may have less to do with effort and more to do with unclear ownership or competing priorities.
That is why I look across:
The goal is to understand what is actually affecting the work before we start changing it.
Then we build a better way to work.
Once we understand what is happening, we determine what needs to change and what the better way should look like.
That may mean simplifying a workflow, clarifying roles and handoffs, organizing information differently, documenting the process, improving how a system is used, automating repetitive work, or changing how teams coordinate around an important priority.
Then we work with the people involved to put it into practice.
- Understand what's happening
- Clarify what needs to change
- Make the better way work
The point is not another recommendation. The point is better work.

About Kerry Francis
I know what it's like to be responsible for making the work actually work.
I've built and scaled companies, led teams across multiple countries, and worked across strategy, operations, business development, product, growth, and execution.
I've stepped into businesses where growth, complexity, or change exposed a better way of doing things. That is why process improvement is such a natural fit for me. I like understanding how the work moves, where it gets harder than it should be, and what needs to change to make it work better.
I've done this from the inside — in startups, in established firms, and in businesses I built myself.
Funded Startup
COO building the operation after the money landed. 857 vendors, 8,600 products, 12 markets.
Multi-Country Operation
Seven departments across six countries. Operating costs down 35%, productivity up 30%.
Established Firm
Head of Growth and Strategy at a $100M construction firm, doing this work in real time.
My Own Companies
A consultancy started at 21 and grown to $1M in two years. A packaging business whose work helped clients bring in more than $700M a year.
I've presented keynotes, led workshops, and facilitated panels across the United States, the Caribbean, the United Kingdom, and Africa — including for the World Health Organization, the Caribbean Development Bank, and at Hard Rock Stadium for the Miami Dolphins' small business program.
So when I tell you what I think is going on in your business, it comes from having been responsible for the outcome, not just the recommendation.
See what's happening. Make sense of it. Build what comes next.
Training · Speaking · Facilitation
Sometimes the better way starts with a better conversation.
Bring me in to train your team, speak to your audience, or facilitate an important working session when people need to see an issue more clearly and understand what to do next.
The work is practical, direct, and grounded in the realities of strategy, operations, process improvement, growth, and execution.
The goal is not just a good session. It's a room that thinks differently and is better equipped to move forward.
